In the ranking’s inaugural year, the firm achieved a nationwide Band 1 ranking in Higher Education for its strong litigation work on behalf of universities, colleges, and schools. The firm achieved a high national ranking in Native American Law, and a nationwide Band 1 ranking for Native American Law: Appellate, where it was commended for its strong litigation capabilities involving Native American tribes, “notable experience” acting before the federal and state courts, and sizable team of former government attorneys and enrolled members and descendants of federally recognized tribes.
