We represent, on a national scale, both lenders and borrowers in all types of mortgage and secured and unsecured lending transactions, including construction and permanent financing, revolving and term financing, mezzanine financing, syndicated financing with participations, Delaware Statutory Trust and tenant-in-common financings, synthetic leasing and other forms of project financing.  We also have significant experience representing institutional investors, developers and their joint ventures, and in the areas of tax increment financing and credit enhancement facilities for public and private projects.

We work with lenders and borrowers to reach creative solutions in connection with troubled loans.  We utilize our broad experience in the secured financing arena to develop comprehensive documents to facilitate loan restructurings and loan workouts.  Our lawyers have substantial experience in structuring deed-in-lieu of foreclosure transactions for our lending and real estate clients.  In addition, in cases where a transactional solution to a problem loan cannot be achieved, our real estate attorneys work closely with our litigation and bankruptcy attorneys in foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings involving financing transactions secured by real estate.
