Urja Mittal is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Ms. Mittal received her JD from Yale Law School in 2017.  While at Yale, she served as executive editor of the Yale Law Journal, a Coker Fellow in contract law, a teaching assistant in constitutional litigation, and a research assistant in federal courts. She received a BA in economics and political science, with distinction, and a BS in economics, with a concentration in finance, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mittal worked as a legal fellow at the Campaign Legal Center, where she litigated voting rights, redistricting, and campaign finance cases at the appellate and trial levels on behalf of a range of clients.  Her recent experience also includes working in appellate and constitutional litigation at a national litigation boutique.  At Jenner & Block, she maintains an active pro bono practice.

Ms. Mittal served as a law clerk for the Honorable Leondra R. Kruger of the Supreme Court of California and the Honorable Vince Chhabria of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
