Yahia Boussabaine is an associate in the firm’s London office. His practice encompasses international arbitration and commercial litigation, covering a variety of sectors including commodities, telecommunications and financial services.

Mr Boussabaine has acted for a range of multinational corporations and financial institutions in complex disputes before the English courts and international tribunals under the rules of the major arbitral institutions.

Mr Boussabaine studied Law at the University of Cambridge, and holds an LLM (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics specialising in international arbitration. At LSE, Yahia achieved the highest mark in the year for three subjects, including Advanced Arbitration, and was awarded the Valentin Ribet Prize. He also was a Research Assistant to Dr Jan Kleinheisterkamp considering matters of arbitral appeal.

Mr Boussabaine has an active pro bono practice with a particular focus on access initiatives, including mentoring students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Prior to moving to Jenner & Block, Mr Boussabaine worked at a specialist disputes firm, having previously trained and practiced at a Magic Circle firm.
