William A. Williams is an associate in the firm’s Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice. Mr. Williams represents distressed businesses, secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, and other significant stakeholders in a range of insolvency-related proceedings, including out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases, and adversary litigation.
Mr. Williams earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in political science from Auburn University in 2012 and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Mr. Williams served as submissions editor of the Journal of Law & Politics. Mr. Williams is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Chicago Bar Association’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Committee.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Williams practiced in the bankruptcy and restructuring department of another prominent law firm.
