Victoria C. Fitzpatrick is a solicitor-advocate in the firm’s London office and a member of the Investigations, Compliance and Defense Practice Group. Both individuals and corporate clients seek her counsel in a broad range of national and international matters, including in relation to criminal, regulatory and internal investigations and compliance with anti-bribery laws. Ms. Fitzpatrick recently completed a secondment to the Bribery & Corruption Division of the Serious Fraud Office.

Ms. Fitzpatrick is a member of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion and Pro Bono Committees. She has an active pro bono practice, with a particular interest on issues affecting minority groups. She is currently advising a NGO on matters related to eradicating modern slavery. She has drafted submissions to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child on the harms caused to LGBTI children by laws criminalizing homosexuality, and represented Jamaican individuals in an appeal to the Privy Council against a sentence of life imprisonment for a gang murder. She has advised international NGOs on marriage-equality laws and drafted amicus briefs in the landmark gay rights cases, Windsor v. United States and Obergefell v. Hodges, which challenged the constitutional basis for laws prohibiting the recognition of same-sex marriage.
