Timothy (Tim) W. Yuhasz is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department. He focuses on M&A, securities offerings, and other corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Yuhasz served as in-house counsel for the largest property and casualty insurer in the United States, where he worked on a variety of tax and transactional matters, including M&A, business alliances, and security offerings. He also previously worked for a central Illinois boutique business law firm where he represented clients in a range of corporate, tax, and transactional matters.

Mr. Yuhasz received his BA in Political Science from Illinois State University in 2014. He received his JD from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude and Order of the Coif in 2017. During law school, he served as an Internet & Symposium Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review and received the J. Nelson Young Award for Excellence in the Study of Tax Law.

While in law school, Mr. Yuhasz was a member of the Community Preservation Clinic, where he represented underprivileged homeowners facing foreclosure in mediation and state court proceedings.
