Skyler J. Silvertrust is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.
Mr. Silvertrust focuses on complex commercial litigation and high-stakes government and regulatory investigations. He has represented companies and individuals across a range of sectors, including the banking, aerospace, telecommunications, real estate, and media industries, in cases before federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and investigatory matters.
Mr. Silvertrust also maintains an active pro bono practice that has included work on behalf of non-profit organizations and individuals, including in representation before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Silvertrust served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Honorable Frank Maas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He also worked at the Federal Defenders of New York, an independent, non-profit defender organization that provides representation to indigent individuals charged with federal offenses in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
