Shanna H. Rifkin is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Ms. Rifkin received her JD from Duke University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. During law school, Ms. Rifkin served as a note editor for the Duke Law Journal, a legal writing teaching assistant, co-founder of the Duke chapter of Law Students for Reproductive Justice and a board member for the Women Law Students Association.
Before joining Jenner & Block, Ms. Rifkin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Honorable Lawrence J. Vilardo of the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
Prior to law school, Ms. Rifkin worked as a research assistant at a prominent think tank in Washington, DC, where she was part of a team that analyzed implementation of the Affordable Care Act. She earned her BA from Brandeis University, cum laude, in health care policy with a minor in women’s and gender studies.
