Sean Sheely is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department.
Mr. Sheely received his JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2021, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he served as Editor for the Loyola Law Journal and worked in Loyola’s Business Law Clinic, where he assisted not-for-profit entities with formation and advised them on tax and corporate governance issues. At Loyola, he also served as the Michael A. Shabat fellow for the legal writing department and won three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest class grade in his legal writing classes.
During law school, Mr. Sheely also externed for the United States Department of Justice’s Chicago Immigration Court, for which he wrote judicial opinions in asylum and removal cases. Prior to law school, Mr. Sheely worked at a boutique family law firm where he helped draft documents, support the firm’s attorneys, and interface with clients.
