Rémi Jaffré helps clients in the media, entertainment, and technology industries achieve favorable outcomes in disputes involving trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition, defamation, and the First Amendment. He also advises clients across industries on protecting their trademark rights and provides strategic counseling on trademark prosecution and portfolio management. Rémi has represented clients before federal and state trial and appellate courts, arbitral panels, the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board, and the USPTO.

Rémi also has extensive experience helping an energy sector client navigate complex environmental and government relations issues as part of a long-running qui tam litigation involving novel legal questions under the New York False Claims Act. In his pro bono practice, Rémi has represented clients in immigration matters and argued a Seventh Circuit appeal in a prisoner’s rights case, obtaining a remand and the right to a new trial for his client. 

Rémi is a member of the firm’s LGBT forum and its Associate Board of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. He is also a member of INTA’s Right of Publicity Committee.
