Michael B. Kang is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Kang received his JD from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2020 and graduated cum laude. During law school, Mr. Kang was the Diversity & Inclusion editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, a member of the school’s national moot court team, and co-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA). Additionally, Mr. Kang served as a student attorney for the MacArthur Justice Center’s Civil Rights Litigation Clinic, where he advocated on behalf of prisoners subjected to solitary confinement and victims of excessive police force.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kang served as a Public Interest Law Initiative fellow with the MacArthur Justice Center, where he advocated on behalf of pretrial detainees and prisoners impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
