Mary Marshall is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Ms. Marshall received her JD from Columbia Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Law Review and a Public Interest Fellow. During law school, Ms. Marshall was a member of the Combatting the Consequences of Mass Incarceration Clinic. As a member of that clinic, Ms. Marshall successfully litigated a solitary confinement case before the District of Connecticut and the Second Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marshall clerked for the Hon. Jill Pryor on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Before law school, Ms. Marshall worked as a teacher and school leader in schools in Harlem and the South Bronx. She received her AB, magna cum laude from Princeton University and her MA in Education from Hunter College.
