Mara Ludmer is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department where her work focuses on intellectual property, entertainment and complex consumer litigation matters.
Ms. Ludmer has trial, arbitration and mediation experience. For example, she was an integral member of a lean trial team that secured one of the largest verdicts ($940 million) of any kind in Wisconsin and one of the largest trade secret verdicts in U.S. history. She also maintains a robust docket of pro bono matters ranging from civil rights litigation to defending victims of human trafficking.
Ms. Ludmer received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as a technical editor for the Harvard Environmental Law Review and a board member of the Harvard Women’s Law Association. While in law school, Ms. Ludmer worked at Harvard’s Cyberlaw Clinic, Family Law Clinic and Heath Law and Policy Clinic. Ms. Ludmer received her undergraduate degree with honors from University of California at Los Angeles where she majored in anthropology and minored in environmental systems and society. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ludmer worked as a law clerk at the California Attorney General’s Office.
Ms. Ludmer is a member of the California Bar and also a member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
