Lina Ragep Powell represents clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She focuses on major contract disputes, putative class actions, insurance coverage, fiduciary duty claims, and responding to civil investigative demands. Lina assists businesses in a variety of industries including technology, telecommunications, professional responsibility, banking, and civil rights.

Lina graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2012 where she worked on the Wisconsin Innocence Project and was an active member of the Moot Court Board and the Wisconsin International Law Journal. Following law school, Lina worked at a non-profit civil liberties organization and served as a federal judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

As a former Fulbright fellow in Syria where she worked at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and studied Syrian law, Lina brings a unique and diverse perspective to her practice. Lina serves as a member of the Associate Board of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and is a member of the Arab American Bar Association of Illinois.
