Keturah James is a law clerk in Jenner & Block’s New York City office.

Ms. James received her JD from Yale Law School in 2019, where she worked as an articles editor for the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics and the Yale Journal of Law and Technology.  She was a research assistant for the Consortium for the Advanced Study of Brain Injury at Yale Law School, and was a member of the Rule of Law Clinic, where she was part of the team that filed suit against the Connecticut state government challenging the practice of prison-based gerrymandering. 

Ms. James also co-organized the 2018 Critical Race Theory Conference, bringing academics and practitioners from across the country to discuss issues at the intersection of race and sexuality; race and class; and race, immigration, and imperialism.
