Kara K. Trowell is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Ms. Trowell’s practice includes complex civil litigation and white collar investigation.
Ms. Trowell received her B.A. in Global Studies in 2011 from UCLA, where she graduated from the College Honors Program. She received her J.D. in 2015 from the New York University School of Law, and also studied abroad in the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen.
Ms. Trowell maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily assisting refugees seeking asylum in the United States. Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. Trowell worked at a family practice as a Non-Attorney Representative, representing clients in their claims for federal disability benefits.
