Joshua Davids is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department. Mr. Davids represents public and privately held companies in connection with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and stock and asset purchases.
Mr. Davids assists companies across an array of industries in mergers and acquisitions transactions with varying structures. Mr. Davids also maintains an active pro bono practice, advising non-profit corporations on corporate governance and contractual matters.
Mr. Davids received his JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 2018. As a law student, he worked for the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab, completing projects advising clients in a variety of matters in areas including corporate governance, securities law and trademarks. In 2016, he was named a winner of the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab Transactional Challenge. Mr. Davids also served as president of the Intellectual Property Law Society.
Mr. Davids graduated from Carleton College in 2015, magna cum laude, with a BA in classical studies and theater arts. He studied abroad at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, Italy.
