Jennifer Beach is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, concentrating in complex commercial litigation. Ms. Beach has significant experience litigating in a number of substantive areas, including ERISA, False Claims Act litigation, patent disputes, and legal malpractice. Ms. Beach also has experience in family law matters, and is trained in collaborative law.
Ms. Beach has experience in all phases on litigation, including written and oral discovery, dispositive motions, and trial preparation. In addition , Ms. Beach has assisted with drafting numerous federal appellate briefs in complex matters. Ms. Beach maintains an active pro bono practice in the areas of family and criminal law. She is a member of the firm’s Women’s Forum Steering Committee.
Ms. Beach serves on the Advisory Board of Girls in the Game, a non-profit organization that provides and promotes sports, fitness, nutrition, and leadership opportunities to girls in the Chicago area schools. Ms. Beach received her B.A., summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, in 2006 from Washington University in St. Louis. She received her J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, in 2010 from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. During law school, she served as executive editor for the Washington University Law Review and as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing. Ms. Beach also received her Master of Social Work from the Washington University Brown School of Social Work in 2010.
