Jay K. Simmons is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Simmons received his J.D. from the University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law, earning a certificate in Transnational Law & Business. During law school, he served as an executive senior editor on the Southern California Law Review
, a legal writing fellow, and the legal director of USC’s student chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Manuel L. Real and the Honorable George H. Wu of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Additionally, as a third-year law student, Mr. Simmons was selected to represent USC at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, in which 379 law schools from across the globe competed in Vienna, Austria.
Mr. Simmons received his bachelor of science, summa cum laude, from Bradley University, with a double major in economics and political science. He is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.
