Ian M. Moodie is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department and the Patent Litigation and Counseling Practice. Mr. Moodie’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation including representing clients in cases involving mobile telecommunications, software, and copyrights.

Mr. Moodie received his B.S. in electrical engineering in 2009 from Iowa State University. He received his J.D. in 2013 from the University of Iowa. During law school, Mr. Moodie participated in the Intellectual Property Society and studied in London, United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Moodie engaged in copyright and patent litigation, patent prosecution, and patent counseling, primarily in the electrical, mechanical, and software fields of invention. Mr. Moodie is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
