Hope H. Tone is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department.
Ms. Tone received her J.D. magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2018. While in law school, Ms. Tone served as the president of the Moot Court Board and as the curriculum editor for the Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy. As a member of the Moot Court Board, Ms. Tone wrote and argued a habeas corpus appeal before the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ms. Tone also served as an extern at the National Immigrant Justice Center, where she appeared before the Chicago Immigration Court on behalf of asylum applicants.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. Tone served as a Public Interest Law Initiative Graduate Fellow at Catholic Charities Legal Assistance.
Ms. Tone graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2015, with a B.A. in history and communication studies.
