Hanna M. Conger is an associate in the Energy Practice. She focuses her practice on regulatory strategy and litigation.
Ms. Conger regularly represents electric, gas and water utilities in regulatory proceedings, including traditional and performance-based formula rate cases, applications for certificates of public convenience and necessity and proceedings seeking approval of major utility asset acquisitions, mergers and reorganizations. She also has significant appellate experience on these matters.
Ms. Conger uses that experience to counsel clients regarding emerging technologies and regulatory schemes at the state and federal levels, such as integration of microgrids, electric vehicles, battery energy storage systems and other distributed and renewable energy resources into the utility grid, as well as innovative rate mechanisms, customer privacy and customer service and relations programs. Ms. Conger also has experience in performing due diligence supporting transactions between unregulated entities concerning renewable generation projects, and in negotiating wholesale gas supply contracts.
