H. Debra Levin is a co-chair of the firm’s Private Wealth Practice.  She has more than 40 years of experience advising family business owners, wealthy individuals and their survivors, and generations of families regarding estate planning and post-death issues.

Ms. Levin assists clients with the complicated and often emotional distribution of estate assets among children, stepchildren and former and surviving spouses.  She has represented numerous not-for-profit organizations and offers a wealth of experience in creating charitable vehicles to carry out the plans of individual donors.

In addition, Ms. Levin draws upon her technical knowledge of intricate employee plan distribution rules to reduce estate and income taxes for closely held business owners.

In 2019 and 2020, the Chambers High Net Worth guide ranked Ms. Levin in the Private Wealth Law category.  One client told the guide that Ms. Levin is “a great lawyer – there is no question about it. She is intellectually and professionally exceptionally strong, consistently. She embodies the concept of ‘the client comes first.’”  Another client praised her “impeccable” judgment, adding, “I would not undertake any major financial or legal decision without consulting with her first.”
