He is frequently, and directly, involved in bench and jury trials, summary judgment motions, motions in limine, evidentiary hearings, depositions, e-discovery disputes and settlement conferences. Within the past five years, Mr. Servodidio has represented Fortune 500 companies in the content, media and consumer product industries and obtained precedential rulings, injunctive relief, evidentiary sanctions, judgments and negotiated settlements in cases involving direct and secondary liability of online service providers, cyber-squatting, the First Amendment, the scope of the DMCA and Internet intermediary liability for aiding and abetting copyright and trademark infringement.
With more than a decade of experience overseeing the management and enforcement of global brands, his work has also included domestic and international trademark prosecution, clearance, counseling, enforcement and anti-counterfeiting advice.
In 2011, Legal 500 recognized Mr. Servodidio in the area of copyright. He was honored with a 2007 Burton Award for Achievement in Legal Writing for his New York Law Journal article “Keyword Advertising: The Elusive Search for Use in Commerce Over the Internet.” Mr. Servodidio is a member of the firm’s nationally recognized Content, Media & Entertainment and Trademark, Advertising and Unfair Competition practices.
