Emily K. McWilliams is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Ms. McWilliams received her B.A. in philosophy in 2007 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she graduated summa cum laude and served as the chair of the student government. As a Clarendon International Scholar, Ms. McWilliams then received her M.S. in Comparative Social Policy at Oxford University in 2008. Ms. McWilliams received her J.D. from Northwestern Law School in 2014 where she graduated cum laude and served as a member of the Center on Wrongful Convictions and the Children and Family Justice Center. Ms. McWilliams is also a former Point Foundation Scholar.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. McWilliams worked as chief of staff to a leader in the Wisconsin State legislature, where she coordinated policy research, legislative strategy, media relations and constituent services.
Emily serves as co-chair of the firm's LGBT Forum.
