Elizabeth A. Edmondson is a litigator focusing on complex contractual disputes and matters involving sophisticated financial products and services.
Ms. Edmondson has represented clients at every stage of litigation, including in eight trials and arbitrations. Ms. Edmondson’s practice focuses on counseling clients in complex contractual disputes, particularly in the manufacturing sector, and litigating disputes involving financial products, including in actions involving securities fraud and breach of contract. She was a member of the trial team that won a record-breaking $431 million FINRA arbitration award for STMicroelectronics N.V. and then helped defend that award before the Second Circuit.
Ms. Edmondson’s pro bono work focuses on vindicating the civil rights of individuals in the criminal justice system. She has obtained substantial settlements for a man whose brain tumor went untreated in prison and for a man repeatedly arrested on an invalid warrant. In addition, she has successfully represented multiple refugees in removal proceedings. Ms. Edmondson serves on the Board of the New York Chapter of the Coalition of Women’s Initiatives in Law and the Committee for Corrections and Community Reentry of the New York City Bar Association.
Ms. Edmondson was selected as a 2016 Rising Star by the New York Law Journal.
