Elin Park is a litigator. Ms. Park practices complex commercial litigation, consumer class action, and insurance litigation. She handles complex business disputes and government inquiries for a range of industries, including financial services providers, chemical manufacturers, benefits and professional services providers, and transportation companies. In recent years, she has successfully defended multiple consumer class action lawsuits involving billions of dollars at stake. She also advises and represents policyholders in insurance coverage disputes.
Ms. Park has secured victories for her clients in federal and state courts across the country. A federal court has praised Ms. Park’s advocacy in the courtroom as "superlative." Ms. Park has trial experience, and she has represented corporations and individuals in lawsuits before the US Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, and other appellate courts.
Ms. Park has been recognized for her successful representations of pro bono clients with awards from the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.
Ms. Park is the Secretary of the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago and is a board member of the Korean American Bar Association of Chicago. She is also a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Ms. Park completed a fellowship at the Institute for Justice Clinic on Entrepreneurship, where she advocated for the interests of Chicago businesses by negotiating contracts and advising on regulatory matters. Ms. Park earned her JD from the University of Chicago Law School, and her BS in Economics from Duke University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
