Deepthika Appuhamy is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
Ms. Appuhamy received her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2018, where she graduated summa cum laude. In 2014, Ms. Appuhamy also received a qualifying law degree (LLB) with upper-second class honors from the Durham University in the United Kingdom.
While in law school, Ms. Appuhamy was a member of the domestic violence clinic and worked as a teacher’s assistant to the law school dean, assisting him with his first-year constitutional law class. In her final year, Ms. Appuhamy received the Annual Rickert Award for Academic Excellence for her overall academic record. She continues to maintain an active pro bono practice representing indigent clients.
Ms. Appuhamy is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
