Danielle Nicholson is a member of the firm’s International Arbitration, Public International Law and Litigation practice groups.
Ms. Nicholson has represented clients in international arbitration hearings and complex commercial disputes spanning a broad range of industries and substantive areas. She has participated in several regulatory and internal investigations including matters before the United States Department of Justice and federal district courts. She has also served as a monitor of a major Swiss financial institution following its settlement with the New York State Department of Financial Services and federal regulators.
Ms. Nicholson maintains an active pro bono practice representing refugees, immigrants and victims of human trafficking in appellate and federal courts. She has been recognized for her notable work and successful representation of pro se immigrants by the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC) who selected Jenner & Block to receive their annual pro bono award in 2018. Ms. Nicholson has also worked on international migration projects in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and South Africa.
Ms. Nicholson currently serves on the Associate Board of the Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation and the Advisory Board of the International Action Network for Gender Equity and Law. She is also a member the International Chamber of Commerce Young Arbitrators Forum, United Nations Association of New York and the Diversity Task Force of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Ms. Nicholson worked for several years as an associate in a boutique New York law firm.
