Christopher G. Renner is a partner in the Chicago office and co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Law Practice. He focuses on antitrust litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in the technology, healthcare IT, and medical supply industries. Mr. Renner also has extensive experience representing clients before state, federal, and international enforcement agencies.
Clients turn to Mr. Renner for his effective approach in formulating and proving creative antitrust theories. He has extensive experience representing plaintiffs – especially plaintiffs with new and emerging business models – in antitrust matters involving anticompetitive, exclusionary conduct.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Renner spent eight years at the Federal Trade Commission, including serving as an attorney advisor to the chairman and acting deputy assistant director of the Bureau of Competition.
While at the FTC, Mr. Renner received the Paul Rand Dixon Award, for contributions to the FTC’s law enforcement mission.
Mr. Renner received his JD from New York University School of Law and his BA from St. John’s College.
