Mr. Plummer received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2015, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served as a staff editor on the Journal of International Human Rights and was a student attorney in Northwestern University’s Bluhm Legal Clinic, where he represented adults and juveniles in criminal matters.
In addition, Mr. Plummer was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Ruben Castillo of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois. After law school, Mr. Plummer completed a PILI Fellowship with the Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where he represented incarcerated women in various family law matters.
Mr. Plummer also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Prior to law school, Mr. Plummer worked as a special projects manager in the Chief Executive Office of the Chicago Public Schools.
