Mr. Plummer received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2015, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served as a staff editor on the Journal of International Human Rights, and was a student attorney in Northwestern University’s Bluhm Legal Clinic, where he represented adults and juveniles in criminal matters.
In addition, Mr. Plummer was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Ruben Castillo of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Plummer received his B.A., Summa Cum Laude with honors, from Howard University in 2009. After law school, Mr. Plummer completed a PILI Fellowship with the Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where he represented incarcerated women in various family law matters.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Plummer worked as a special projects manager in the Chief Executive Office of the Chicago Public Schools.
