Mr. Plummer is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. He represents clients in all aspects of complex civil litigation in state and federal courts and all phases of litigation. Mr. Plummer has experience litigating in a variety of industries including energy, gaming, telecommunications, technology, and real estate. He also has extensive experience representing clients in high-stakes internal corporate and government investigations involving various state and federal anti-fraud, bribery, and public corruption laws.
Mr. Plummer received his JD from Northwestern University School of Law in 2015, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served as a staff editor on the Journal of International Human Rights and was a student attorney in Northwestern University’s Bluhm Legal Clinic, where he represented adults and juveniles in criminal matters.
In addition, Mr. Plummer was a judicial extern for the Honorable Chief Judge Ruben Castillo of the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois. After law school, Mr. Plummer completed a PILI Fellowship with the Cabrini Green Legal Aid, where he represented incarcerated women in various family law matters.
Mr. Plummer also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Prior to law school, Mr. Plummer worked as a special projects manager in the Chief Executive Office of the Chicago Public Schools.
