Chasel Lee is an associate in the firm’s Communications, Internet, and Technology Practice.
Mr. Lee received his JD at the George Washington University Law School in 2017. While in law school, he served as senior managing editor of the Federal Communications Law Journal and took active roles in student affinity groups. Mr. Lee also served as a legal intern at the Federal Communications Commission and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, working on open internet issues, IP network transition matters, and the digital economy.
Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Lee was at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) as an attorney and an analyst in the Communications Division. At the CPUC, he primarily worked on universal service programs and emergency response issues in administrative proceedings. Mr. Lee also worked on energy reliability matters, wildfire safety, and legislative analysis.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Lee is active in the local community, including serving on the 2021-22 San Francisco Redistricting Task Force. Mr. Lee is also a member of the Conference of California Public Utility Counsel.
