Brian P. McLaughlin is a Staff Attorney in the firm’s Litigation Department having both extensive civil and criminal litigation experience.

Mr. McLaughlin began his legal career as a Trial Attorney for the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division.  While at the Department of Justice, Mr. McLaughlin investigated and criminally prosecuted both individuals and corporations for violations of federal law.  Since entering private practice, Mr. McLaughlin has represented a wide variety of individuals and businesses in both state and federal court.  He has extensive experience litigating both criminal and civil cases, including those relating to the False Claims Act and civil rights section 1983 violations.  In addition to broad his knowledge and experience conducting written and oral discovery, Mr. McLaughlin’s e-Discovery practice includes matters relating to securities fraud, bankruptcy, the health care industry, and governmental regulatory and compliance matters.
