The firm mourns the passing of Bradley M. Yusim on December 11, 2019. He was a quietly fierce advocate for his clients and passionate about the practice of the law. He will be sorely missed.
Bradley M. Yusim is a litigator who focuses on complex civil matters. He handles a variety of cases ranging from business fraud, tortious interference with business expectancy, and partnership and contract disputes, to Fifth Amendment regulatory takings, First Amendment, patent infringement, and trade secret cases.
Mr. Yusim has significant trial experience in several federal and state courts across the country, as well as before several arbitration tribunals. Mr. Yusim is a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice and the firm’s Hiring and Associate Development and Evaluation Committees. In 2008-2009, Mr. Yusim was seconded to firm client Honeywell International Inc. as General Counsel of Honeywell’s Resins & Chemicals business.
In addition to his civil practice, Mr. Yusim has represented numerous clients on a pro bono basis, including a client on death row in Texas in a state habeas corpus proceeding. He was a co-author of the 2013 publication Temporary Restraining Orders and Preliminary Injunctions in Illinois State and Federal Courts.
