Mr. Hand received his JD from Yale Law School in 2019. While in law school, Mr. Hand participated in the Yale San Francisco Affirmative Litigation Project, where he assisted the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office in litigating affirmative lawsuits on behalf of the City. Mr. Hand was also a Teaching Fellow in Constitutional Law for Professor Akhil Reed Amar.
Mr. Hand graduated cum laude with highest honors from Harvard University with an A.B. in Social Studies. Mr. Hand also received an M.Phil in Political Thought and Intellectual History from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining Jenner & Block, Mr. Hand was an associate at another international law firm in San Francisco.
Mr. Hand served as a law clerk to the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Honorable Lucy H. Koh, then of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California
