Andrew J. Plague is an associate in Jenner & Block’s Litigation Department. He joined the firm in 2020.
Mr. Plague received his JD, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School, where he served as a contributing editor on the Michigan Journal of Law Reform. During law school, Mr. Plague served as a student attorney in the Civil-Criminal Litigation Clinic, representing clients in criminal misdemeanor, debt collection, and eviction cases. He also worked on a long-term criminal appellate impact project involving over 150 incarcerated Michiganders. In 2020, Mr. Plague was one of 14 law students and early-career lawyers from across the United States to be awarded a FASPE legal ethics fellowship.
Mr. Plague earned a BS, magna cum laude, from Grand Valley State University, where he served as student body president.
