Allison N. Glover is a member of the firm’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice and Litigation Department. She has experience working with clients through data incident response. Ms. Glover counsels clients on HIPAA, CCPA and state law privacy obligations. She helps clients understand the federal and state privacy laws that may apply to their business.
Ms. Glover also has experience in complex civil litigation matters and governmental and internal investigations. She maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing detained asylum seekers.
For several years, she has volunteered for the Lawyers in the Classroom Program, teaching Chicago Public school students about constitutional rights and the rule of law. Ms. Glover currently serves as Co-Chair of the Fundraising/Events Committee for Equip for Equality’s Young Professionals Board, a non-profit organization that advances the human and civil rights of people with disabilities. Ms. Glover is a T.E.A. (Train, Excel, Appoint) Directors Institute Fellow. This selective leadership program is the first program in Illinois exclusively dedicated to preparing female attorneys of color for roles on corporate, government and nonprofit boards. She is also an active member of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, Inc.
