Alisa C. Finelli is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing on complex civil litigation.
Ms. Finelli received her B.A. in political science in 2007 from the University of Notre Dame. She received her J.D. in 2015 from Notre Dame Law School, where she graduated cum laude. During law school, she served as the executive notes editor for the Journal of Law, Ethics and Public Policy and interned for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC. In 2014, Ms. Finelli received a Super Lawyers pro bono award for her work creating a student volunteer program at a local legal services organization.
Ms. Finelli served as a law clerk for the Honorable Sara L. Ellis and the Honorable John J. Tharp Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. In 2015, she completed a fellowship with the Public Interest Law Initiative at the Chicago Legal Clinic. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Finelli served as a spokeswoman for the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC, where she handled public affairs for a variety of criminal and antitrust matters.
