Alice S. Kim is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. As a litigator, Ms. Kim focuses on complex commercial disputes and consumer class actions.
Ms. Kim has represented clients in state courts, federal courts, and arbitration proceedings throughout the United States, for a wide array of complicated disputes, including copyright and trademark infringement, trademark dilution, breach of contract, fraud, trade secrets, and partnership disputes. She has also litigated consumer class actions on behalf of personal care, technology product, and auto manufacturers, frequently securing early dismissals and favorable settlements.
Ms. Kim maintains a substantial pro bono practice, with a focus on indigent and criminal defense. She also serves on the Associates Advisory Board of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, a nonprofit legal assistance organization that protects and advances the rights of some of the Los Angeles area’s most underserved populations, and has served on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
Ms. Kim received her JD from Harvard Law School in 2017 and her BA from Duke University in 2013. Before rejoining Jenner & Block, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Nancy L. Moritz on the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is admitted to practice law in California.
