The Biden Administration’s executive orders (EOs) and other presidential actions in week two are focused on slowing the spread of COVID-19, increasing access to health care for underserved communities, and creating a whole of government approach to combating climate change. These actions also outline new policies on discrimination, scientific integrity, criminal justice reform, and President Biden’s “Build Back Better” initiative. It is anticipated that the rate of executive actions will slow this week, as President Biden switches his attention to passing his COVID-19 relief package through Congress.
