Published annually by Jenner & Block’s Investigations, Compliance and Defense team, this 2020 Year in Review provides a comprehensive analysis of developments international anti-corruption laws and practice over the last 12 months. This update includes a new deep dive on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) enforcement trends, including charts and visualizations of key statistics, as well as chapters on SEC enforcement, corporate criminal liability in the United Kingdom, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and Brexit on international anti-corruption enforcement, among many others. Edited by Keisha N. Stanford and Katie B. Johnson and with contributions from 28 lawyers, the guide bring together perspectives from colleagues with diverse backgrounds, including senior alumni from the US Department of Justice (including partners who oversaw and ran the DOJ Fraud Section during their time in government service), as well as the UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
