“Favoring Coverage for Business Email Compromise Losses,” Insurance Law Update

In the August Insurance Law Update, Partner Jan A. Larson and summer SEO fellow Raymond Simmons explain that a significant cyber-related coverage issue being litigated in courts around the country is whether traditional fidelity and crime policies cover fraudulently induced money transfers.  They highlight two recent decisions from the Second and Sixth Circuits that strengthen insureds’ arguments that traditional fidelity and crime policies should provide coverage.  Law360 republished the ILU.
