In this article, Jenner & Block Partner John R. Storino and Associate Katharine R. Ciliberti share eight lessons they have learned from practicing as lawyers’ lawyers.  The authors observe that far more frequently than instances of blatant wrongdoing, they see legal malpractice cases where it is quite easy to imagine oneself as the defendant. They note that “[w]hile lawyers are human and perfection is unattainable,” following the tips in the article should help lawyers avoid some of the more common situations that they have seen in their practice as lawyers’ lawyers.
