Jenner & Block Partner Nick G. Saros and Special Counsel Miwa Shoda wrote an article for a Japanese magazine that examined three key patent law issues that were pending before the Supreme Court in its recent term at the time of publication.  Titled “Recent Update on Important Patent Cases in the U.S. Supreme Court,” the article describes the legal issues raised in each case: Limelight Networks v. Akamai; Nautilus v. Biosig Instruments; and Alice v. CLS Bank.  The authors explain how these cases could affect entities that plan to bring patent infringement lawsuits, seek U.S. patent protection or that will face allegations of patent infringement by a patent holder.  Nick and Miwa wrote the article for The Lawyers with an attorney at the Tokyo-based firm of Mori Hamada & Matsumoto.
