Barely a week into 2014, the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) first Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) actions show continued vigorous enforcement.  The authors, Partners Jessie K. Liu, Reid J. Schar and Associates Eddie A. Jauregui and Michael W. Khoo, indicate how this action involving an oil industry company is notable in three additional ways, besides being part of the longstanding FCPA enforcement trend.
