The National Law Journal’s closely-watched “Who Defends Corporate America” survey this year singled out Jenner & Block as being one of the “most mentioned” defense law firms by corporate America. The eight Fortune 250 companies listing Jenner & Block as a preferred law firm and placing it in the prestigious NLJ survey’s Top 20 for 2002 were Dell Computer Corp., General Dynamics Corp., General Electric Co., Honeywell International Inc., Masco Corp., Sara Lee Corp., Washington Mutual Inc., and WorldCom Inc.
“This is yet another indication that our commitment to providing outstanding legal services is being well-received in the marketplace,” said Jenner & Block’s Managing Partner, Robert L. Graham. “Our growing corporate client base, I believe, also appreciates the Firm’s ongoing efforts to add depth and diversity to its national transactional practices through the recent hiring of such corporate law luminaries as Elmer Johnson and Robert Osborne, as well as through the recruitment of top legal talent at the nation’s leading law schools.”
