Most recently, Ms. Mascherin served as Chair of the CBA’s Strategic Planning Committee, which made multiple forward-looking recommendations to the bar group’s governing Board of Managers, including enhancing the CBA’s website to better serve local attorneys and the public, adding special programming for solo/small firm practitioners, and improving some of the CBA’s facilities, among other things.

Ms. Mascherin has also been a member of the CBA’s Board of Managers and its influential Judicial Evaluation Committee.  Earlier in her career, she chaired the bar group’s Young Lawyers' Section Committee on Professional Responsibility and was a member of the Young Lawyers' Section Executive Council.

Ms. Mascherin is a member of Jenner & Block’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Domestic and International Arbitration, Intellectual Property, Telecommunications and Trade Secrets and Unfair Competition Practices.  She is also a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.  Ms. Mascherin also has an active pro bono practice, which has included successfully challenging death sentences imposed on two men on Illinois’ death row and defending challenges to the clemency orders issued by former Illinois Governor George Ryan.
