Martin to Co-Chair ABA's Pretrial Practice & Discovery Committee

Jenner & Block Partner Craig C. Martin was recently appointed Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s Pretrial Practice and Discovery Committee for the 2006-2007 term, recognizing his “achievement as one of the nation’s leading litigators” in his field.

Mr. Martin will help lead the committee in its efforts to educate its members about a wide range of pretrial practice and discovery issues, including legislative proposals, rule changes and recent court decisions, as well as cutting-edge areas such as electronic discovery. 

Mr. Martin is a member of the Firm's Litigation Department and its Policy Committee.  Mr. Martin also co-chairs the Firm’s ERISA Litigation Practice.  He has been recognized as one of the nation’s 40 most promising young litigators by the National Law Journal, one of "40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 to Watch" by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company, and one of "40 Under 40" by Crain’s Chicago Business magazine, an honor reserved for leading Chicagoan "up-and-comers" in the fields of business, government and the arts.
