Jenner & Block client General Dynamics recently acquired Itronix Corp., a Spokane, Washington-based company that produces specialty computers used by the military and other government organizations, from private equity firm Golden Gate Capital.
General Dynamics plans to add Itronix to its existing command, control and communications capabilities geared toward the defense industry.
Partner John F. Cox and Associate Bobby J. Hollis II served as counsel to General Dynamics in its acquisition.
General Dynamics, headquartered in Falls Church, VA, employs approximately 70,800 people worldwide and had 2004 revenues of $19.2 billion. The company is a market leader in mission-critical information systems and technologies; land and expeditionary combat systems, armaments and munitions; shipbuilding and marine systems; and business aviation.
